Use of Machines

All machines at The Laundry Lounge Rutherford are provided for customer convenience and are regularly maintained. Customers are responsible for ensuring items are suitable for machine washing and drying. We recommend checking garment care labels before use.

The Laundry Lounge Rutherford is not responsible for damage to clothing or items, including but not limited to shrinkage, colour bleeding, fabric wear, or damage caused by items left in pockets, incorrect machine use, or failure to follow care instructions.

Use of the laundromat and its machines is entirely at the customer’s own risk.

Dedicated Machine Use

Customers must use designated machines appropriately:

• Work Clothes Only machines are for heavily soiled workwear.

• Pet Bedding Only machines are for pet bedding and items containing pet hair.

Failure to use the correct machines may result in additional cleaning requirements and may affect future use of the facility.

Unattended Laundry

For the safety of your belongings, laundry must not be left unattended. This is a condition of use of The Laundry Lounge Rutherford.

The Laundry Lounge Rutherford accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, disturbed, or removed items if laundry is left unattended at any time. Customers are encouraged to remain on-site while machines are in use.

Loss, Theft & Damage

While we aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment, The Laundry Lounge Rutherford is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to personal property, clothing, or other items brought onto the premises.

Customers are responsible for their belongings at all times.

Access & Auto-Locking Doors

Our premises are fitted with auto-locking doors for safety and security. Customers are responsible for ensuring they can access the laundromat for the full duration of their wash and dry cycles.

The Laundry Lounge Rutherford is not responsible for customers being locked out, delayed re-entry, or any resulting inconvenience, including laundry remaining inside machines due to access issues.

Customer Conduct

We ask all customers to respect the space, equipment, and other patrons. Any misuse of machines, unsafe behaviour, or failure to follow posted rules may result in refusal of service.

Acceptance of Terms

By entering The Laundry Lounge Rutherford and using our facilities, customers acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
